Consultation on the Better fuel for cleaner air draft regulation impact statement
The Ministerial Forum on Vehicle Emissions (link is external) has released a draft regulation impact statement proposing improvements to fuel standards under the Fuel Quality Standards Act 2000. These changes are designed to bring Australia’s fuel quality into line with international standards. Submissions are due by 8 March 2018.

Nov 2017 Bonn, Germany: QRFA who host below50 Australia regional hub, partook in the United Nations COP23 conference to meet and discuss the action plans and roles of transitioning energy intensive sectors to low carbon fuels.

QRFA Managing Director, Larissa Rose interviewed and spoke with below50 Brazil regional hub representative, Laura Albuquerque from CEBDS and Gerard Ostheimer, below50 Global Senior Lead about below50's call to action on the uptake of low carbon fuels.

QRFA would like to thank Peter Bakker, Rasmus Valanko, Gerard Ostheimer, Byeronie Epstein, Juliet Taylor and Tanya Strevens and the rest of the WBCSD team for leading such strong low carbon fuel initiatives and programs at COP23.
